Bakul - Absolute Oil
Bakul by Attar Bazaar is an Absolute Blended Oil. This scent is truly unique and smells different on the skin than in the bottle (as is true with many scents). It's an intriguing dark scent that smells very resinous and very musky with fruity, woody, and floral notes. Bakul is a soft and subtle fragrance, almost like a floral sandalwood. If you're looking for something different and adventurous, you must try Bakul.
Bakul Attar is derived from bakula, which is India's most sacred as well as beautiful flowering tree. It is most commonly found on the western coast of India and flowers between the months of March through August. Filling the air with an intoxicating aroma, the perfume of bakul flower (Also called "garland flower") lasts for a very long time & therefore is symbolic for lasting love and devotion. Bakul trees are frequently found growing at temple entrances. The deep green leafy branches of the bakuls offer luxuriant shade and cool respite from India's blazing heat, creating a peaceful atmosphere that is conducive to meditation. Prepared from absolutes obtained from star shaped Bakul flowers, the attar is also among the most preferred due to its soft & floral fragrance.
